about us

After 2020, we were all seeking togetherness. Following the closure of our Minneapolis restaurants, Grand Cafe and Eastside, our guests needed beauty and comfort, and our team needed purpose. We began pouring our hearts into creating meal kits that were designed to take care of people in new ways. Et voila! We launched Paris Dining Club in November of 2021.

We believe bringing people together creates fulfilling connections that last longer than an evening. Our monthly menus are inspired by the French way of life, generous hosts, and beautiful tables.

We now offer more than a meal kit. Our boxes are an experience designed to create space for connection, exploration, and delight. You can start a monthly subscription, order a single box, or sign up for a membership to get the full experience. Dinner party with us in person with events and catering.

  • jamie malone

    FOUNDER

I became a cook because food a is beautiful way to learn about the world. I desired a life full of things to be curious about. I knew that cooking would ensure an endless list of things to discover. Science, art, anthropology, history, regionality, food can bring us anywhere. Food can do something else that is extraordinary, it can connect us. Exploration creates meaning and connection brings joy. I'm determined to find more of both. One subject at a time. Join me. If even for a moment, reject the frenetic, egocentric approach to life. The world is magic, and people are magic. Let’s be curious and open hearted while we allow the world to show us its beauty.

  • britt st. clair

    DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Growing up in a big family, Britt has always known the dinner table to be the gathering place for connection, sharing stories, and having (loud) discussions. She began cooking at a young age and worked her way up in restaurants before becoming the Chef de Cuisine at Grand Cafe. She has now worked alongside Jamie for 8 years. Living in Denver and no longer cooking professionally, Britt uses her skill set of logistical thinking and problem solving to oversee operations and nerdy writing to fulfill her creative side. Snacks and a lapful of kitty cuddles are essential to her work day.

    EXECUTIVE CHEF

Ryan Cook has the perfect name—“Chef Cook”—plus the well-honed talent that makes him a standout. He was part of the culinary magic with award-winning chefs at Sea Change that received national attention. Ryan’s background as a fisherman in the wild oceans of Alaska gave him an affinity for superior fish and also a boatload of engrossing stories to share. He has the ability to create dishes that are technically sound, but also incredibly delicate and beautiful. Cool Fact: Ryan’s an incredible banjo player with a degree from McPhail Center for Music. And if he wasn’t cooking, he’d be an “old-time fiddle player.”

  • sarah coombs

    MARKETING DIRECTOR

Growing up with two chef parents, Sarah learned to love food from a young age. With a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and a background in hospitality, she has a unique blend of skills. Now based in Portland, Sarah draws on her experiences at various restaurants in Minneapolis. Her move from front-of-house to marketing director has given her an appreciation for customer service and memorable dining experiences. Things Sarah will always say yes to: a glass of wine, a new pair of shoes, and spending time with her tiny little baby Pomeranian, Luna.
